* Report of County Budgets, Tax Rates & Selected Salaries (BTRB) Published annually. Contains data compiled from a fall survey of all Maryland county budget and finance offices. Includes population data estimates and income from the State of Maryland Office of the Comptroller and the Departments of Assessments & Taxation, and Health and Mental Hygiene.

Legislative Summary Published annually in May at the close of Maryland's Legislative Session. Summarizes MACo's legislative activity, including brief explanations of MACo's positions on key legislation. To order fax the Publications Order Form to (410) 268-1775.

* Compensation Survey of Maryland Local Government Published biennially as a joint project of MACo, the Maryland Municipal League, and the Institute for Governmental Service, (IGS). Contains top ranking employees' salaries at the municipal and county level. Available directly from the Institute of Governmental Service, University of Maryland, College Park, MD 21401. * Courthouse News Published weekly during the Maryland General Assembly session and monthly May through December. This is the association's official newsletter. It includes articles about current issues facing local government, association news, conference information, and job openings. Hardcopy subscriptions available $100 per year. * 2003-2004 Directory of County Officials
The 2003-2004 edition is available for $40 per copy. The directory is published every other year. This comprehensive directory lists elected and appointed county officials by county, including key department personnel, Maryland State agencies, the Governor's office, the Maryland General Assembly, and Maryland's congressional delegation. The publication is distributed as a membership service to county elected and appointed officials, State elected officials, and other select groups.
